How can I confirm my account role and permissions?
BlendVision One provide Organization module designed to streamline the management of multiple users and their permissions within your organization.
In this article, we will introduce below:
- Default permissions of each roles
- How to confirm your role in business organization on BlendVision One web console
Noted: For the key features that Organization module provides, please refer to Organization Introduction (for Staff / Developer) or Organization Introduction for Admin.
Default permissions of each roles
In BlendVision One, your account in the business organization will belong to one of the following role types:
Account Type (Role)
Permission
Admin
- The Owner / Manager of an organization.
- Manage Organization module for below function
- Manage all user’s accounts / roles / groups via user list
- Change subscription plans / billing information
- Allow to access / manage all modules and functions that Staff / Developer can
Staff
- Access and Manage the modules below: Dashboard, VOD, Live, Library, Player, Analytics, General Setting modules.
- Access Organization module for below function:
- Confirm all user’s accounts / roles / groups via user list (view only)
- Edit owned account information
Developer
- Allow to access / manage all functions that Staff can
- Allow to access BlendVision One APIs
Confirm account role in your organization
There are 2 ways to confirm your role on BlendVision One web console:
Via User menu

Click Your user icon displayed on upper-right side

The drop-down User menu will shown, and you can check the role under your username:
Via Organization module - User List
You can also confirm all user’s role (include your owned) via accessing User List of Organization module:

Click “Organization” on the sidebar to open the drop-down menu on BlendVision One Web Console.

Press “User” that displayed on the sidebar to access User List

In User List, you can easily confirm all user’s accounts and confirm their roles via “Type” column.
Noted: Only Admin can change the roles of all users in the organization. please refer to Organization Introduction for Admin.
